Faith that brings us together
We are a local Evangelical Baptist community in the village of Salyha. Faith in Jesus Christ, the Word of God and love for our neighbours shape our life together.
To be a church is
to live by faith.
We gather to pray, read the Scriptures, sing and share fellowship. We seek to reflect our faith in God through everyday life and care for the people around us.
Our community has a long history, preserved in the accounts of earlier generations, Mykola Riabyi’s memories and materials passed down through the years.

The Scriptures
The Bible is the inspired Word of God and our authority in matters of faith, Christian life and ministry.
The Triune God
We believe in the one living God, revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Salvation through faith
Salvation is a gift of God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ, His substitutionary death and resurrection.
Believer’s baptism
Baptism by full immersion is a conscious testimony of personal faith, repentance and covenant with God.
Life of the church
We are called to prayer, love, holiness, mutual care, the Lord’s Supper and sharing the Gospel.
